Adebayo Kadiri Jimoh is a native of Osogbo in Osun state where he was born on 25th May 1956. Adebayo Jimoh is a Psychologist by Training. He had his First Degree from the University of Ilorin and was a pioneer member of the Master of Science in Psychology of the University of Ibadan in 1981. A holder of a Professional MBA Degree in Marketing Management. A Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Management and a member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria.
Adebayo Jimoh is a Winner of Several Academic and Scholastic Awards including the Winner of both the Faculty and Department Prize in his graduating set at the University of Ilorin. He was also a University of Ibadan Academic Scholar during his M.Sc. Programme and won the Nigeria Institute of Management Best Young Managers Competition Award in 1986 for the Western Business Zone in Nigeria.
Arising from his high scholastic achievements while in the university, he started his career as an Assistant Lecturer in Industrial Psychology in the University of Ibadan in 1982. Following his search for practical application of academic theories, he joined John Holt PLC(A British Multinational Company) as a Management Trainee in 1983 from where he roses through the ranks in quick succession to become the Group Executive Director in charge of Sales and Marketing Operations for the company in Nigeria and West Africa in 2003.
In May 2005, Adebayo Jimoh was appointed Group Managing Director/CEO for Odua Investment Company Ltd where he served for 9years. He has to his credit the Planning and Development of the First Shoprite Mall in Ibadan called the Cocoa Mall. He also developed the Apapa Shoprite Mall and the Akure Shoprite Mall during his tenure as GMD of Odua. Several housing Estates were built under his watch in addition to some Youth Empowerment Projects in Skill Acquisition and Agricultural Service Training. Under his leadership in Odua, over 1600 South West Indigent but brilliant students were awarded Scholarship in our Federal Universities. He voluntarily retired after serving his tenure in June, 2014.
As an entrepreneur, Adebayo Jimoh currently serves on boards of Company’s in Nigeria and also involved in Community and Institutional services in some higher institutions in Nigeria. His Hobbies include Reading, Playing Golf and Bird Watching. He is married with Children and Grandchildren.
Lola was born in Ibadan and attended the International School of Ibadan (ISI) where she graduated in 2003. She moved to the United States and enrolled at the University of West Georgia (UWG) in Carrollton, Georgia. She earned a Bachelors of Business Administration by studying Management Information Systems. She graduated in only 3 years with a 3.75/4.0 CGPA with honors in 2007. While in college, Lola was distinguished by her service and leadership experiences. She served first as community service chair in the International Students Club and later served as president of the same organization. She was vice president of Gamma Sigma Sigma (a national service sorority). She was a senator in the Student Government Association (SGA) and served as the diversity affair committee chair of the SGA.
After college, Lola joined Home Depot Corporation in 2007 as an IT developer. Within a year, she was promoted to Project Manager overseeing large IT projects of up to $20 million in budget. During this period, she enrolled at Kennesaw State University where she earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in project and strategic management in 2010. After graduation, she was promoted to Marketing manager where she worked closely with business partners to develop a marketing strategy for the company’s growth and expansion in the United States, Canada, Mexico and China.
In 2012, she and her newlywed husband, Mr. Seyi Ogunseye, both decided to move back to Nigeria to start a new journey. Lola worked with The Infrastructure bank in Abuja briefly and then worked with the Qatar-based Gulf Warehousing company for over 2years before deciding to pursue her lifelong dream of owning her own restaurant. In 2016, she founded Eat Green Company which is the parent company of Mint restaurant and rooftop in Lekki, Lagos Island. She continues to give back by mentoring many young people in the business world and she volunteers her time to serving the community in different capacities. Lola and Seyi have two wonderful boys.
