Lola was born in Ibadan and attended the International School of Ibadan (ISI) where she graduated in 2003. She moved to the United States and enrolled at the University of West Georgia (UWG) in Carrollton, Georgia. She earned a Bachelors of Business Administration by studying Management Information Systems. She graduated in only 3 years with a 3.75/4.0 CGPA with honors in 2007. While in college, Lola was distinguished by her service and leadership experiences. She served first as community service chair in the International Students Club and later served as president of the same organization.

She was vice president of Gamma Sigma Sigma (a national service sorority). She was a senator in the Student Government Association (SGA) and served as the diversity affair committee chair of the SGA. After college, Lola joined Home Depot Corporation in 2007 as an IT developer. Within a year, she was promoted to Project Manager overseeing large IT projects of up to $20 million in budget. During this period, she enrolled at Kennesaw State University where she earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in project and strategic management in 2010. After graduation, she was promoted to Marketing manager where she worked closely with business partners to develop a marketing strategy for the company’s growth and expansion in the United States, Canada, Mexico and China.

In 2012, she and her newlywed husband, Mr. Seyi Ogunseye, both decided to move back to Nigeria to start a new journey. Lola worked with The Infrastructure bank in Abuja briefly and then worked with the Qatar-based Gulf Warehousing company for over 2years before deciding to pursue her lifelong dream of owning her own restaurant. In 2016, she founded Eat Green Company which is the parent company of Mint restaurant and rooftop in Lekki, Lagos Island. She continues to give back by mentoring many young people in the business world and she volunteers her time to serving the community in different capacities. Lola and Seyi have two wonderful boys.
