The Ajara Humanitarian Foundation (AHF) successfully hosted the 5th Edition U17 Secondary School and Grassroot Football Team Competition, in partnership with Ilaji Football Academy, bringing together young football talents for an exciting day of grassroots sports and community development.
The competition took place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at St. Charles Grammar School, Osogbo, and featured a series of football matches designed to promote youth participation, teamwork, discipline, and the development of emerging football talent.
U17 Secondary School Competition
The first fixture saw Al-monsor Model College take on CAC Grammar School Araromi, with the match scheduled from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
The secondary school competition provides an opportunity for young students to showcase their football abilities while building confidence, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship both on and off the pitch.
Grassroots Football Competition
The second fixture featured Deen Babes FC against Alhaji Olore FC, with kickoff scheduled for 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Through grassroots competitions like this, the Ajara Humanitarian Foundation continues to create platforms where young players can gain competitive experience, develop their skills, and potentially take the next step toward a future in football.
